Alpicella Club Scholarship

The Alpicella Family Club hopes to expand the opportunities for students of Italian heritage to further their educational goals. To this end, every year, the Alpicella Family club will offer scholarships of up to $1000 each, to qualified applicants, to be used for educational expenses at any accredited, two year, four year, or vocational college.

Applications will be accepted from March 1 through May 31, of the academic year prior to the granting of the scholarships. This is a one time grant. Preference will be given to applicants entering their freshman year of college.

APPLICANT CRITERIA

  • Applicant must be a high school senior student intending to apply to an accredited two year, four, year, or vocational college; or a college student already enrolled in a two year, four year, or vocational college.

  • Applicant must have a sponsor who is a member in good standing of the Alpicella Family Club and a member of the sponsor’s family.

  • Applicants must submit the latest copy of their high school/college transcript.

  • Applicant must submit an essay (maximum one page, 12 pt. font) indicating their future college plans, current and past school and community involvement, and how this scholarship will assist the applicant in achieving his/her future goals. This essay should also explain the importance of Italian culture in their lives and an explanation of any services that he/she has rendered to the Italian community.
